Updates from Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin

It all comes down to this.

After a controversial split draw last year, Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2) and Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1) are back in the ring on the strip in Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena to settle the score.

The rematch was supposed to take place over Cinco de Mayo weekend, but when Alvarez tested positive for a banned substance two months prior, it was moved to a day before the one-year anniversary of the first bout.

Since then, tensions have risen and tempers have flared — the two fighters had to be separated in their face-to-face appearance at Friday's weigh-in — setting up a fight to be remembered.

Follow along with our round-by-round analysis once they touch gloves:

But Alvarez is the on moving forward, stalking slightly. Big upper cut from GGG. Action intensifies again. Body shot from Alvarez. Back to the center of the ring. Round GGG, 38-38.

GGG hanging in with the jabs. Alvarez fires back with his own jabs. Jab fest here. Body shot from Alvarez. He’s landed many of them. Alvarez swinging for fences. Hasn’t landed the big shot yet. Round Alvarez, 48-47.

ROUND 6: Alvarez still stalking. Even when GGG lands punches. GGG sticking with jab. Alvarez lands a heavy shot and good hook to body. Alvarez has landed lots of body shots. GGG must be feeling it. GGG sticking with the jabs, and they’re landing. But now Alvarez stalking again. Firing and landing. Back comes GGG. Fighters at center of ring and firing away. Nothing big lands. Round GGG (barely), 57-57.
